• Re: Portraying a Lovecraftian Horror as A Pathetic Entity

How about an extended story arc where you initially introduce it as an influence on a human protagonist. It could be a Dominion who has "Fallen to Whispers" in order to eventualy reap more power (See Inferno ). Gradually it builds in power through Sprit-like manifestation into possesion and from there who knows what? maybe even full on "Doorway

  • Re: On cursed corners and forgotten alleys

I love this stuff! Shadows of the UK has a lot of really good material on inter-statial spaces. There's a part of Glasgow that changes if you walk down the wrong street at the wrong time and a Welsh valleys town that isn't always there and is bad news when it is . Incidentally that material is written, I believe, by Wood Ingham and he's
Ugh. You don't have to House Rule to get specializations without dots in the skill. I've seen it, somewhere, in at least one book, fairly recently. If I have the time to dig through it all when I get off work I'll try to find a reference/page number/etc.
I'd be interested if you can find
Noone I know is desensitized enough to be a murderer, though.
Well, they make for great antagonists. In fact that's more what I had in mind when I recommended it. Also, it has the section on VASCU which is very cool.

Just wanted to pop in and say good work! This is great stuff, love the tone and mood. Couple of things: Galt might be a little more fun if he were a purified from Immortals . Fits quite well with the emphasis on spirits I think. Also, do you have Shadows of the UK? It's got some great material in it that would fit beautifully here. It's a bit

All good choices. I'd throw in Inferno as well and probably Reliquary. Slasher is great fun too, but maybe a little Hunter-centric.

  • Re: [Real life ghost stories] A more 'realistic' World of Darkness

Yeah, I like a WoD that's more "Tales of the Unexpected" than "Underworld" myself. My game's set In Britain and a more low key approach to the supernatural better suits the mood. If I think of any good stories n' stuff I'll post 'em :)
