Meh. I thought S&S was a little too wrapped up in the Atlantis mythos for the kind of flexible Mage I wanted to run. Mages are a disparate, idiosyncratic bunch. Design your society as you see fit and don't worry about that WW wants you to do. Mage can be a great game, but any time the supplements mention Atlantis or Atlanetan society they become

Maybe being "in the presence of the One" could be considered a place beyond the Supernal; a reward for the Ascended soul before/instead of reincarnation? Sort of like the Pure Land of the Amida Buddha. As for otherworlds, it seems that there should be Fallen reflections of the Supernal Realms, inside the Fallen World but hidden from view.
