So does anyone have any houserules for making higher-quality shields and shields of the magical materials? I realize that shields aren't a big part of Exalted's iconography, but if the designers didn't want people using them, why include them in the core book at all? Why give the Sun and Mars shields as part of their panoplies if their Chosen

For a style created by meditating on war, there's very little in this style that assists in fighting in the mass combat context, which disappoints me. Perhaps the form charm (or the pinnacle charm) could be changed to allow the other charms in the style to apply in the mass-combat context without requiring a stunt?
