White Wolf provides this forum as a gathering place for members of our fan community. We want the forums to be a welcoming place for as many community members as possible. As such, there are certain rules. At the discretion of moderators, forum users may have their posting privileged curtailed for violating these rules.

1. Personal attacks are prohibited. Personal insults against other community members are not allowed.
2. Group attacks are prohibited. Ethnic, sexist, racist, homophobic, and similar insults are not allowed, nor are insults which attack a broad number of people in order to circumvent Rule 1.
3. Trolling is prohibited. Posts which attempt to disrupt discussion or induce others to break forum rules are not allowed.
4. Advertisements are prohibited. Posts for the solicitation of goods or services are not allowed.
5. The posting of other users' personal information is prohibited. Posting addresses, phone numbers, e-mails, photographs, or social networking information belonging to other users is not allowed. This includes private messages and e-mail messages.
6. Out of character falsehoods are prohibited. Discussing the fictional World of Darkness, Exalted, Scion, or Trinity settings necessarily involves fictional statements. However, false statements or insinuations regarding real people or organizations are not allowed.
7. Discussion of warnings and bans is prohibited. Communication between moderators and users is private, and not to be discussed or reposted. This includes discussion of disciplinary actions.
8. Circumventing a ban by creating a new account or posting through another user's account is prohibited. All involved accounts will be banned.
9. Endorsement or discussion of illegal activities is prohibited. Substantial leeway will be granted for discussion of illegal activities within fictional settings, but many subjects (such as illegal file-sharing) will be entirely prohibited.
10. Thread crapping is prohibited. Thread crapping is loosely defined as a post that disregards the purpose of the thread and adds no value to the conversation. Such posts are often hostile or discount the validity of the thread without providing sufficient explanation. It often prevents questions from being answered by creating a more prominent secondary conversation before the original can be resolved.
XX. White Wolf or the moderators may find it necessary to modify posts or curtail user privileges for circumstances not listed above. If we find ourselves taking action in response to a particular, repeated abuse, we may, again at our discretion, add it to the rules above.
